A pleasant red wine to taste with supple tannins and a noble acidity which gives it excellent aging potential. It is a well-balanced wine on the palate with velvety aromas of red fruit and a subtle spice finish.

Léon Millot was the first variety of multi-resistant grape (PIWI) in France obtained by Eugène Kuhlmann around 1911. The name of the grape variety was chosen in tribute to Léon Millot, president of the Vosges viticulture company who faced the dangers of phylloxera experimented with the hybridization of grape varieties to create plants resistant to vine diseases. Léon Millot gives slightly full-bodied wines, with aromas of black fruits and a final note of eucalyptus on the palate.
